The Open Workshop of Visual and Applied Arts of the Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa – G.I. Katsigras Museum was established in April 1986.
The purpose of the Open Workshop is to attract any creative attempt of young people who are occupied with fine arts and those who enjoy artistic creation.

The courses last eight months a year (October to May). The schedule follows the summer holidays and public holidays of Public Schools.

The registration fee is €10, regardless of class. Special prices apply for large families, three-children families, disabled and for members of the same family.
Opening hours of the Secretariat during the academic year: Tuesday to Friday 17:00 – 20:00 and Saturday morning 10:00 – 13:00.
Students of the Open Workshop are provided with a certificate of studies at the end of each study cycle.
